Wordpress 2.7 was just released a few moments ago (Found out on Twitter, where you should follow me) and I must say upfront: My, oh my, was it worth the wait.

Before I’ve even had a few moments to dig into it after upgrading about sixteen installations of it manually, I’m taken aback by just how thorough of development Automattic has put into the interface and every aspect of the backend. I’ll have more shortly but if you haven’t yet, upgrade!
